The cylinder head seals the cylinders at the top. The valves are in the cylinder head again, as is the camshaft. In most cases, there are also cooling channels running through the cylinder head. The cylinder head gasket is located between the cylinder head and the bottom block. When replacing the cylinder head, we also recommend replacing the cylinder head gasket. In many cases, the cylinder head must be replaced because it has been too hot and can therefore warp.
How to check if the cylinder head needs to be replaced
Always consult an expert for diagnosis. Our cylinder heads are suitable for many diesel engines. With these types of machines, it is possible to check whether a cylinder head needs to be replaced. In many cases, there is excessive coolant use, white smoke when starting and/or a penetrating smell from the exhaust. This means that the cylinder head is leaking. This can also happen with brands such as Iseki and Yanmar, despite the fact that they are market leaders in the field of reliable diesel engines.
